…And the crowds poured in of buyers locked into intense meetings for 3 days to bring new travel trips for the world in South Asia!

How Experience Bangladesh greeted their potential buyers in ITB Asia in Singapore….
Highlights of ITB Asia included Sarah’s meeting with students from the Tourism Department at Raffles University in Singapore, where she shared her experience of being an entrepreneur in Bangladesh and what it really meant to be socially conscious and act responsible as a travel company. She remarked, “Taking care of the environment and the people while showing your country is a necessity as opposed to being an optional activity, since both define “our product” that we share with the world. She also discussed how each person is empowered to practice responsible travel practices through every action they take and all the ways they engage in the travel industry.
Nazmul Ahmed successfully pulled in the crowd of potential buyers at ITB Asia 2011 from at least 7 countries including China, Slovenia, London, Nepal and more. He was most inspired by meeting others from his industry (travel) and felt a sense of satisfaction in getting a glimpse of the size of the Travel Industry.
He also made a lot of new friends with exhibitors from Ecuador, Nepal and especially the team from JD Talents management firm who spent 3 days at the stall with Experience Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Tourism Board to make sure all our needs were met throughout the conference.
It was great to meet old friends that Experience Bangladesh had made from WTM 2010, such as Gopinath Parayil of Blue Yonder and Debjitt Deb of ITS (West Bengal) as well.
